Ditchling gives big thumbs-down to Princess Royal plan


A significant 91% of people in Ditchling are opposed to any downgrade of the Princess Royal hospital. Furthermore, 85% of village residents believe that the huge sums of money being poured into the NHS are being spent in the wrong way, with only 2% saying funds are being spent correctly.

The figures come from a detailed questionnaire carried out by Norman Baker and the Lib Dems across Ditchling. A total of 650 questionnaires were delivered by Lib Dems of which 133 were returned, producing a good response rate of 20%.
