Seaford MP Norman Baker has today called on East Sussex County Council to review the junction at Hill Rise onto the A259 at the entrance to Seaford following the bad accident which occurred there today.
Mr. Baker witnessed the aftermath of the accident on his way to visit Cradle Hill School in Seaford.
Commenting on the incident, Norman Baker said "There was considerable unhappiness amongst local people at the nature of the junction arrangement put in by the county council. I shared those concerns and thought at the time that a couple of mini roundabouts would have been more appropriate. I am now asking the county council to let me have details of the accident rate after the new junction was put in place and to urgently review the arrangements here."
