Local MP rocks on with wrong trousers

Local MP Norman Baker donned a pair of musical trousers and posed with Wallace and Gromit on Thursday in order to promote Wrong Trousers Day 2008, which this year falls on 27 June.

Each year Wrong Trousers Day raises money for the Wallace and Gromit Children's Foundation, which works to improve the lives of children in hospices and hospitals around the country, and this year has a music theme.

Speaking on the subject, Norman said: "I am delighted to lend my support to the Wallace and Gromit Children's Foundation.

"Wrong Trousers Day is a great opportunity for people to have some fun, and at the same time raise money for a worthy cause.

"I would encourage people here in the Lewes constituency to get involved and have some fun on the day!"
