Local MP Norman Baker will be retuning to Seahaven FM for two weekends during the station's latest period on the air.
Norman will be hosting his very own show on the mornings of Sunday 24 and 31 August between 10:00 and 12:00. He will be playing an eclectic mix of music, ranging from 1920s classics to more recent recordings, including jazz, country, blues, and more mainstream pop.
Seahaven FM will be bringing in a couple of turntables especially for Norman, so he can play material from his extensive record collection (as opposed to CDs).
Seahaven FM will be broadcasting from Monday 18 August to Sunday 14 September on 87.7FM in the Seaford and Newhaven area, and at www.seahavenfm.com online.
Speaking in anticipation of the broadcasts, Norman said: "I am very much looking forward to returning to Seahaven FM. I enjoy playing a wide range of music, and I hope that the show will give me the opportunity to communicate with people who I do not normally get the chance to.
"In addition, I think it is really good to have genuinely local radio available, and hope residents in Seaford and Newhaven will tune in to support the station."
